For XC use.
So far I have narrowed it down to these 2 for handle bar grips:
The Lizard skins moab lock ons
ODI X-Treme Lock-On
For bar ends I have no idea!
Please let me know your recomendations.
Cheers.

GX2 Magnesium for me because I worry about weight. Whichever you go for though, get the small size (unless you have bucket hands).0

Thanks again.
A concern would be whether they offer enough control when the speed picks up over unstable terrain. Do you guys use them for riding at trail centres?0 -
Hay Ratty2K what is a "pub bike"? Is that somewhere between Freeride and Downhill?Commencal Meta 5.5.1
Scott CR10 -
I can vouch for ODI Xtremes ! They are very good, super grippy especially in the wet and have never slipped at all but you will need to wear Gloves to be really comfy !0

Depends how much was drunk in the pub as to whether it would be - free ride or downhill all the way!!
I do like the concept of a "pub bike" though. Especially kebab attachments or maybe a curry tray0 -
