yep!
It's an old 5 (or Sub 5) 2003 vintage approximately or possibly older!

Looks older than that. The rear swingarm looks similar, but the downtube isn't the same.Boardman Road Comp '08

This is an Orange Mr XC. I had one. its a tubular as opposed to monocoque front triange with the familiar swingarm. it was very flexibible laterally, which led to cracking around the shockmount and its demise....0

28 gears, coolBikes are OK, I guess... :-)

Mr XC Take a look on Orange web site under my orange
And look for the old model section and you will find it there.

Looks like an old Saracen Addiction or Frenzy.0

some poor sod's going to buy that and think he's spent his £370+ wisely!0

They were 4000 quid! And probably better than an Orange ;-)0

blimey, a quick google and I realise you're not wrong :oops:0 -
Saracen used to turn out some real expensive kit! Carbon and magnesium frames, monocoques, and led the way in long forked hardtail.
They will be back for 2010, new owners.0 -
The old Saracen Addiction and Frenzy both only have a pressed lower tube and the tube connecting the seat was just oval stock? Think they had a longer alloy shock leaver as well. The Addiction had a mad read swing arm so its defiantly not one of them. The Frenzy has some piddle round swing arm tubes if I recall correctly?

That's a Rush.
But yeah, you could be right, looks similar though!0 -
So it is my bad  I am intrigued to know what bike it is now. I emailed the seller and they said it was a Orange :?0
-
Noticed it has a Horst link, and the Sarcens appear chainstay.
Wonder what it is? I'll get it lol.0 -

Both have the tubular downtube unlike the sub 5 & 5, IIRC the Mr XC was the predecessor to the Sub 30 -
He's cleverly worded it though,
An Orange Framed bike
The frame is orange. not made by "orange"0 -
Andy_B you know I had seen a Strange Orange 5 frame with tubular down
tube with the same frame shape has what you see now last year.
Boring but true to some
Anyway yes it could well be a sub 3
Also the New Patriot is soon to be ready and is going to be more Hard Core0 -

Do you think that the idiot that had bid on it read this post as his bid has now been retracted?!0 -
Definatley a rush! I have a addiction frame right here which i am starting to build. Having serious trouble getting a Risse Racing swingarm tho! Any ideas?0
