Beacon Roads CC Little Mountain Time Trial, 26th April

One of the best time trials in the country over 39 miles of very challenging Worcestershire roads. So popular that it was oversubscribed in 2008 with a great mix of experienced testers and complete novices. An expensive TT bike is not needed as there is an integral competition for those on road bikes.

I can't wait for this one! Just hoping that it's not so popular this year that i don't make the cut! I see that you can enter this online through the CTT site, although i notice CTT are charging for the privilege.

By the way, Ruth, i've been trying to push this with the Hinckley lot. Hopefully there'll be a few more of us this year.

Thanks Rich - yes see what you can do with those Hinckley lads and lasses - the club hasn't been well represented at the best TT in the Midlands up until now!

I have actually received notification that you've entered online - but the system is brand new and I've been onto the providers this morning checking out what I'm supposed to do next. Later today when I get a bit of time I'll try to acknowledge your entry through the online entry system............... you're my first online entry.

Of course the downside of other Hinckley riders doing it is i'm almost certain to lose my only club course record! :? I've been trying to emphasise how much more fun this is than a DC. Corners and everything!

I'm honoured! It seemed fairly straightforward to do - hopefully not too much hassle at your end. Hopefully a few more events will have the internet option. I was sorting out my entry forms for March & April - i always end up having to check and re-check i've put the right form & cheque in right envelope!
