I have heard that this conversion is a simple spacer removal.
I can't find any information or diagrams on how to do it though - anyone know of any?
Also would it invalidate the warranty on the fork, or would it be classed as servicing?

Is the F90 a reduced F100 (in essence)? I know some have set length stanchions can can't be upped.
Thw warranty thing is a grey area - it can be done as part of a service change.
I'll see if I can find what you need.0 -
Yeah I think the F90 is a F100 reducded to 90mm for Specialized.
I can see stuff in manual about changing travel on them, just not specifically for this fork.

Although page 54 does say:" Do not remove travel spacers, or increase the travel in the F-Series forks. Damage to the fork or serious bodily injury could be the result!"0 -
I had a set of 2007 f90 on a stumpjumper and was told they were unchangeable, custom for specialized.0
