Hello all,
are there any useful websites that can help me learn a little more about v brake maintanence? i ride a alot of hilly trails i dont want to upgrade to disc brakes at the moment. i ride a 2001 spesh rockhopper

V's are pretty simple to set up and maintain. as long as theyre centred properly and the pads are in the corrsct position and clean, they require very little in the way of care.
what is it that you want to learn?0 -
really i tend to be quite heavy on the brakes, so pad wear occurs quickly. i suppose i just need an over view of how to adjust the brake as the pads wear down, also when pads are replaced. i am sure most of it is common sence to others but not to me unfortunately lol0

whereabouts are you, i'm sure there'll be a member who can run through it with you. If not, take some biscuits into your regular lbs and ask them to show you. It is really easy once you get the hang of it.0
