Riding in the peaks

Hi everyone
i'm thinking of going up the peaks this weekend possibly mam tour and abouts or possibly ladybower dam was wondering what the ground is like at the minute as although i'm a keen mountain bike rider i don't find riding through 6 inches of mud much fun

    Been pretty good TBH, did Jacobs ladder last week and Rushup edge was not the bog fest I expected it to be. Little claggy in places of course, but the going is good I'd say.

    As ratty says its ok at the moment,although the Single track descent around the flanks of Mam Tor is a bit slippery.The hills/BWs around Ladybower are predominantly rocky so ok,except Whinstone Lee Tor which is peaty and claggy 8)
