wheels stolen, cheapest replacements??

Son has my old mtb at university. Some tw@t has removed the wheels in the night. Would've been better if they'd taken the whole thing, then he could've claimed on the Uni insurance (they provide the D-locks)
To reinstate it with the same quality of kit would cost more than the bike is worth; short of nicking somebody else's, what's the cheapest 26 inch wheelset available??

Are they for disc brakes or rim brakes?0

it's got v-brakes (or it did have last time I saw it) so rim brakes0
