Are Fulcrum Racing 5 Evo's an upgrade from Aksiums?

I'm looking to upgrade my aksiums as they flex too much. A few people have recommended racing 5 evos's but at only £60 more expensive are they a worthwhile upgrade? I weigh 94Kg so they would need to be stiff enough to take my weight?

There are a lot of recent posts on the Aksiums. Simple answer is yes, but there are a lot of options if you have a little more to spend, eg handbuilt.

I've had both and can't say that I notice a difference in stiffness. Why not go for handbuilts with a high spoke count...otherwise I think you really need to spend a lot more if you want super-stiff factory wheels. Higher spec Fulcrum are very good in my experience i.e. 3, 1 and Zero models.
