How long should you ice a pulled muscle for - can you leave the ice pack on too long?

yes...dont freeze the muscle. 3-5 mins on 10 mins off.... ish.

Oh right - oops!
Fell asleep with ice packs on my back and groin today - it seems to have helped.
Will give it a break for a bit then and maybe put some back on again later tonight.

yea I got told off by my physo for over-icing my knee when I damaged it. Does really help reduce the swelling tho
