Just a quick hello to everyone I met on the Radway 150 yesterday, my first Audax ride for 11 years, my knees are suffering today, but besides that I feel great.

A big hello to the Manchester Wheelers lads I met in the cafe, it was a good laugh sitting with you, hope Mr Rapha wasn't too badly scuffed.

Cheers Norbert for organising the ride.

I did it yesterday (or at least attempted to do the 200km version), but I somehow I managed to bonk because I left it too late to eat (Partly because I tried to stick with the fast group, and didn't feel safe eating in a group* at that pace (21mph) over rough roads).

I stuck with "Mr Rapha", we got lost but managed to get to the first control within time, but with me bonking and "Mr Rapha" still suffering from the crash we called it a day. Still managed to get 90miles in or so of a ride - Probably should have aimed for the 150Km version for my first Audax TBH.

*I don't know whether it's normal for an audax but some of the group riding skills seemed appalling - downright scary and not something I was expecting.
    I like bikes...
