Pedals keep moving

Hi guys.
Sorry if a lame questiosn but...
If i am holding my rear wheel off the ground and i pedal a couple of times and then let go of the pedals, they continue to move around and around, as if i am still pedalling. If i hold one of them then the rear wheels continues as it should, with the rachet noise. If i then let go of the pedal again it slowly starts to move again.
Now im sure this must be that some thing nears to be greaesed or oiled but can any one point me in the right direction please.

Ok cool, thanks every one.
My Chris King single speed hub does, and I'm not worried at all, because I know it's well lubricated - as long as it has some grease, you should be fine!
