advice cycling Fort William

Good morning all, I am wondering about driving up to Fort William from Hampshire in March and then cycling the area west/ south west to include Moidart, Sunart and Ardnamurchan. Is this a good idea or wrong area/ wrong time of year ? Anyone else's experiences v welcome, thank you.

    Hey there,

    All I'll say is that the weather can change in 5 minutes up that way, so take suitable clothing. Also, there are some really isolated spots so make sure you take plenty of food & inner tubes. I couldn't think of anything worse than bonking or walking my bike home for hours in the Highlands because I wasn't prepared.

    Beautiful scenery though (when it's not raining).
