which bike???

looking at getting a new bike soon, im into riding trails but also do quite a bit of downhill and 4x and am looking for an all rounder that will manage everything, will hopefully have about 1500 to 2000 to spend, been looking at one of the new marin wolf ridge but would like to know if you have any other sugestions. cheers.
