hello, its been years since ive had a bike, but recently someone gave me a new unused frame and a pair of Suntour XC60 suspension forks 1 1/8 size.
basicly im confused as to what to but to fit them? will all 1 1/8 headsets fit? also some stems ive seen, seem to go into the headset and others just have a hole in each end, one for the handle bars and on i presume clamp to the forks top.
im just not sure what i should order as i dont wanna get the incorrect stuff.
thanks in advance for the help.

well it all depends on what you have.
what is the frame? Pics of the headtube.
Also have a read of Parktools it will give you an idea of the variations."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

need to see the inside of the head tube.
But like i said have a look at Parktools as it will help you identify the headset.
but at a guess a standard 1 1/18th will do BUT without seeing the inside of the head tube not 100%"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

better but not big enough.
Parktools has the measurements
it could be an integreated of an internal/Zero stack from that photo."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
