    He won the Coppa Bernocchi in August last year - I thought he'd also won an early season race in 2008 but must be mistaken.

    Saw him win the CB and this race, when he came second to the current WChamp.
    Saw today's too. (never mind HD get a motorised dish and see the world! :wink: )
    He was leading the bunch sprint up to 40 metres to go, but went a bit early and just ran out of steam.
    Sat up and finished a bike length behind the podium boys.
    A lovely sunny day on the Eyetalian Riviera.
    The Euro season proper just had it's traditional "curtain up".
    Het Volk/KBK next weekend, which can be watched live on..........
