Thinking of changing my Shimano 12-25 to 12-27. Ultegra pricey. Whilst searching for alternatives came across BBB cassettes that are compatible with Shimano at £35.00.

Anybody got any experience of how good or otherwise they are?

I looked at the BBB cassettes last year, but the reviews were poor.

Take a look at the SRAM 1070 (Rival) for a similar price. The 11-28 is a nice ratio.
I'd say the Shimano shifts better, but not much in it.

I have admit to trying the BBB cassette a number of years ago. While it worked ok, it did not shift as cleanly as a Shimano one did.

Rode it for a couple of hundred miles but it had to go in the end. Have always stopped with Shimano after that, so draw your own conclusion really.

But it might just have been me being Mr Pickey, but I just don't like things rattling and generally not sounding quite right.
