Offers on ebay, bit odd?

HI.
I am selling something on ebay, and have got offers from 3 people now, only problem is the names that make me abit wary, the 3 people have names like this:
n***r
1***g
s***5
Why is it like that? Is it just ebay blocking 3 characters or what?
**edit**, I see, just noticed, member ID has been partially been hidden to keep users anonymous, bit odd tho.

eBay security feature.
You can see which bidders are making what bids, but can't see who they are in order to contact them.
e.g. bids of
n***r £15.00 21/02/09 15:56
n***r £14.00 21/02/09 15:55
n***r £13.00 21/02/09 15:54
n***r £12.00 21/02/09 15:53
n***r £11.00 21/02/09 15:52
n***r £10.00 21/02/09 15:51
would show that it's just one bidder, but this n***r character is probably an eBay novice, one of those people who keeps pushing-in bids of £1...
whereas bids
n***r £15.00 21/02/09 15:56
b***p £13.00 20/02/09 19:55
d***d £10.00 20/02/09 12:54
would show it's three differnt people
Since you can't see these people's real usernames, it stops some fraudster sending them emails offering them the same goods off-eBay0 -
The n***r offerend me 5 quid for my shifters, then a tenner, I think it was reddraggon
