but then again i'm biased having 4 condors!
Save up more for a TT bike, especially if you want a decent groupset and aero wheels.
I'd say you need at least 2000, just save more!

  • i cant afford £2000, £1500 is the limit, i shall check out condors

Ok, you don't get proper "aero" wheels

But I reckon it's the best you'll do for under £1500....

£1600, and you could get some 50mm P-X wheels too..

I'm biased because I own one, but it really is a lot of bike for the money, if the frame was good enough for Cadel Evans it's good enough for me.....

I reckon if he'd used a more aero frame and more aero wheels, he would have gained enough time in TTs to win the 2007 TdF..............but you never know.....

Just bought a 2007 Specialized Transition Comp from Evans for £900. I'm more than impressed with it. You can also get the 2007 Expert version for £1200.

A lot of bike for the money :)

You could get a superb TT bike second hand for that kind of money. Because TT bikes don't get a hammering quite like some road bikes do they can be in vgc even after a few years. Try looking at the timetrialling forum classifieds for something.

You really should save £500 of your money for some aero wheels and look to spend the rest on the bike.

Didn't he have this crazy Ridley super aero bike in the 08 Tour TT? But he never caught Sastre...

I really wish he had won the 08 Tour, just because it would be cool to have the first winner from down under. Sastre is ok though because he hasn't won it before. I don't really like watching dominations...

    Sorry for the hijack
