French Sportives near Cherbourg

Does anyone know of any upcoming sportives near Cherbourg. I now live within spitting distance of the ferry in Poole, so thought I might give it a go!

    Not exactly right next door to Cherbourg, but a few possibilities:

    La Coulainaise, in April, somewhere around Le Mans
    La Juliobona, end of April, start Lillebonne near le Havre (not sure if still exists)
    La Conquérante, in June, start just outside Rouen
    La Pierre Bigaut, late June, start Callac mid-Brittany (maybe largest in this list)
    La Cyclo Morbihan, August, start Plouay Brittany
    La Viking, early Oct, start west of Rouen (to Dieppe and back)
    La Alexandre Pichot, mid-October, somewhere in Normandy (small field)

    That's a great link by diarmuid. If you fancy some other (and easier) events look on www.ffct.org for randonees. The calender is on the left side of the page under 'RECHERCHER'.
