Just found out my pump gauge is broken!!

Just found out my track pump gauge is broken....the hard way............................... BANG!!!

pumped it to 100psi found out after by checking on another bike that, that was more like 150psi!!!

lol

    When they go that way they certainly go with a bang don't they?

    I was in a cycle shop in Saff London one day about 10 years ago when one of the guys apparently got into a good rythm with a track pump. I hadn't even noticed him until it went - so I fully understand your reaction. I ha previously spent a couple of years in a part of the World where, at the time, terrorist activity was very common and so for a split second after the tyre exploded I was not sure whether to evacuate the bike shop...
