If you hadn't heard, reforming. Again.
Recording new material with Trent Reznor producing.
Touring with Nine Inch Nails later in the year, just like they did 20 years ago.
Pls play London, pls play London!

Awesome!
Love Perry Farrell!
I went to see them on the Strays tour at the Manchester Apollo and it was the best concert I have ever seen by a country mile.
As soon as they came on and the opening bassline to 'Up the Beach' started there was goosebumps. I'm getting them now just thinking about it!0 -
I love "Nothing Shocking" and "Ritual de lo Habitual" but I'm not so sure about their new stuff.
I wouldn't mind going to see them again though. Then again, I'd quite like to see Primus too.FCN = 4.5 Roadie, hairy legs, half a beard (say goateeeeee!)0 -
I too was at that Apollo gig.
Also too, many moons ago, at the Digbeth Institute and the Birmingham Hummingbird.
One of the best bands ever!
I very much hope they reform!0 -
never seen them but I've been hooked since I first heard been caught seeling, I have a couple of live albums which are just the dogs
enjoyed strays too from their last get together
gotta love em just for the sleeve artwork on nothings shocking, lol0 -
I was a big fan back in the day. Saw them at Subterranea in London, I think the week that Ritual came out, as a warm up for Reading festival. They then cancelled Reading, but I count that Subterranea gig as probably the best I have been to. Also saw them in Brum about a year later.
I went to see Satellite Party (Perry's band of 07) at the mini Astoria. About half the set was classic Jane's material and still sounded truly amazing. Really good to hear it again after that rather dodgy Strays stuff. I hope the new material lives up to it.0 -
Love janes addiction, good riding music especially Had a dad, mountain song, been caught stealing....good times0

My favourite memory of Perry Farrel was at Glastonbury '93 with Porno for Pyros. Half way through his set a bunch of hippy bykers appeared from nowhere with a big yellow JCB. 2 driving & 2 sitting in the raised shovel swinging back the scrumpy & cheering Perry while he was trying to get all serious between songs. The look on his face was priceless as he tried to pretend they weren't there.0

I was at the same gig. I also saw them at Brixton Academy for MTV 2's 5th birthday.
The NINJA sampler for the tour is worth downloading, I did yesterday. The re-recorded versions of Chip away and Whores are superb.
The Street Sweeper from Tom Morrello sounds good after a few listens.
The best I've seen Jane's is at the Leeds festival. Awesome. Which idiot decided to put the Strokes on to headline after the best rock band to come out of the US?!!!
I'll have to give you a copy of Satellite Party - Ultra Payloaded if you don't have it. More good stuff from Perry Farrell.0 -
I have Satellite Party already, I'll try and get that download, cheers for the heads up!
Do you have either of the Porno for Pyros albums? I really like them, the second is very different from the first. I can sort you with them if you don't have them...0 -
