Seems very well specced for the money! Certainly worth a look. rather see a better fork than hydros at this price, but nitpicking a bit really, is good value.0

What are you saying the forks arnt that good.0

For the money they are average. You possibly wont find any better for 250 quid except maybe on the Careera Vulcan Disc.
The disc brakes make it better vlaue: what I was saying is I'd rather they did it the other way round ie better forks and V brakes or cable discs, but that is getting away from the point as a package it is good value.0 -
yes seen i have seen it everywhere for just under 400 pounds so when i seen it for 250 pounds i though it was very good for the money, but then again i am not that clued up on bikes ,so i thought i would ask the question.0

Or i was thinking about the gt avalanche 3.0 disc 2008 or the raleigh at40 2008,which i seen for 260 pounds what do you think i should go for.0

What sort of size are you looking for and whereabouts are you? I've got a BNIB iron horse warrior 3.0 from 08, i'll need to work out the price, but if you're interested...0

I had an AT30 (same bike but cable discs rather than hudraulic). I reckon it's good bike for the money and I wished that I had gone for the AT40 instead as I wanted the hydraulics almost immediately. The bike is heavy, but that's the same with all bikes of this price. I gave my AT30 a real thrashing around the Peak District and it stood up to the job very well without any mechanical problems. Check whether the forks have a lockout as the AT30 didn't and consequently the fork adjustment was a pain as you had two dials - one for each side which have to be set up individually.
One tip though would be to change the tyres as my new bike (GT Avalance) has much better tyres and it makes a big difference in handling.Neil Pryde Bura SL
