Rock Racing kit

I found myself in Harrods last weekend (I feel I should point out I don't usually go there but I was with my wife who was browsing) and up in their sports department I saw that they had different variaitons of the Rock Racing kit. Mmmmm, my interest was piqued and I asked the grumpy looking assistant how much they were:

"£199 sir, for the shorts and top"
"£199???!!!!!!!!!!!!" I said (with literally that many exclamation marks)
"Yes Sir, it is reduced though."
"So you're telling me it was MORE expensive?!"
"Yes Sir."
Off I wander in a daze. Oh, how the other live I thought. At least I knew why the sales assistant looked grumpy, no one ever buys anything.

£199 for bib shorts and a top which, frankly, weren't even that nice? Jesus H. Christ that Michael Ball is having a laugh. I know its Harrods and everythign and you expect to get fleeced as soon as your foot crosses the threshold but come on. I had to laugh to myself as I walked out of the deparement and saw a sign proclaiming something along the lines of Harrods having the Best Ever Cycling collection. Um no, sorry, you don't, you thieving, what do you take us for, bar stewards.

yeah I think that when to TOB was on they launched a new Union Jack kit via Harrods and nearly £500 so £200's a bargin :roll:

Get yer-good-self on Ebay, there's a geezer in Hong Kong selling them (I know, I know), for around £25 for the T's. I thought it was worth the risk and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived, good quality kit (looks the b*ll*x too!). Mrs manic is going to buy me the matching bibshorts, she likes me in the RR kit

dont they change their kit for each race they ride so your RR kit will be out of date straight away?

Job done, Black Kit ordered, this guy is really good and his kit looks good quality.
Can't wait for it to arrive now!!
