Hi Guys,
Can anybody help please?
I have had a Trek 8500 2009 on order for over 6 weeks at my lbs, but have just heard that they are having no luck in locating one. There seems to be a problem at Trek in supplying them, for what reason is anyone's guess! Have been quoted another 3 months if they can supply one even then!
Consequently, I may have to consider another make. Does anybody have any suggestions as to an equivalent? I am a woman, but the 8500 has a better spec than the wsd 8000 and ride a male bike at present. I have to be careful about top tube though as have back problem and reach is an issue.

What size have you ordered?
Evans website quotes 7-10 days for all sizes

Doh!
Not much help then I guess!
You could try here and ring the dealers until you find one in stock!

Plenty of other XC bikes from other brands you could try (and trying is the key) such as the Boardman Pro, GT Zaskar, Scott Scale and from Treks sister company, Gary Fisher.0
