hi all
my first post so hi all again.
i dont know what to do. i have an f700 caad 4 (made in the usa) with the head shock fork i realy like the bike and would like to put some normal forks on her and a few other bits. things is when i add all the bits up its gets pretty pricey and not realy sure if its worth doing. i could sell my f700 and put the money i would use for upgrades and buy a new machine,
anyways i was wondering if anyone here has any expierence with changing the front suspension and what the rides like.
any tips advice please..........neil.......

I think you answered your own question neil. Have you seen the price of new forks just recently

Upgrading is only worth it when it comes to replacing stuff that is broken or worn out. Keep your F700 as it is and get a new bike.
  • yey cheers blitz i know your right just got to pick one now .
  • HI
Yes a decent fork will cost you a lot i have a cannondale taurine and changed the headshox to a magura durin sl recently, it was worth doing for me but a bit expensive (£500 ish with the bits )

Hey, I upgraded my f700 a couple of years ago. I added a cane creek headset, Hope discs and mazzarocchi Bomber's. I wasnt sure how the bike would ride after changing from the headshok but im sooo glad I did. I use mine for alot of urban streetriding, a bit of downhill and quite alot of jumping and the frame seems indestructable! Also it looks very very sweet with good forks and the performance is way better! If youd like to see pics i'd be happy to email them to you so you can see how nice the bike can look.
