A pal of mine has a set of Risse Racing The Champ DH forks on his club roost. These are stiff as hell and don’t seem to have adequate adjusters. After pulling them apart for a bit of a scrub down / service we found that there are 2 springs in each leg.

What I’m wondering is a) is there a softer springset available for them? B) this is a hell of a long shot, but if you put one softer spring in each leg would it possible work as a change in high speed compression damping? Keeping it good on both small and big bumps? Or would it just cack the softer of the two springs?

    Tom,

Marz used to do this with there forks as well. a short stiff spring and a longer normal spring.

but you are going to have to talk to TF/MOJO/Stendec for help on who has any.

    Good luck.
