Please could the horse riders stop their animals from shitting all over the Bristol Bath CYCLE path.. I'm getting fed up of swallowing mouthfulls of the stuff on my cycle commute to work. Especially on my return journey in the evening in the dark.

Otherwise I'm going to follow you home and my staffy and I are going to lay cable all over your drive way..

That wouldn't be very nice would it..?
Neither is allowing your animals to crap everywhere. Dog owners politely bag and bin their pets waste..

Don't carry a bin bag? Maybe stick to riding in fields then...

Thanks

  • Yeah, I totally agree.

If that policy could also be extended to the cycle paths in hyde park, that would be great. Sure, it's all just grass, but when it's wet it's like poo water. Gross.
  • +1

Why horses are even allowed in hyde park I've no idea ;)
  • Horses in the cycle paths in hyde park are really one of my pet hates... They have their huge sandy bit, why not just use it? They can poo in there all they like...
  • Especially when there are hundreds of them and they get in my way. But then, to be fair, what do I really care if I get to work slightly later!

Although I will maintain that pedestrians who get in the way through hyde park are worse - given that the whole paths are about 5m wide and have obvious pictures of bicycles on one side of the big white line...

But then pedestrians don't (I hope) poo in the cycle path.

Hmmm, now I am not so sure what's worse.
