whirr, whirr, whiir, click, clunk, clunk, whirr, whirr, squeak, whirr, squeak, "bollocks", click, clunk, clunk, whirr, whirr, squeak, "aw cock", whirr, squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak.

(I really need to take my cassette off to find out what's causing the squeaking on my commuter/tourer.)

In fact, the sound of any bike tyre humming on the tarmac as you whip up the speed, with nothing else about to drown out the sound. Love it :D
  • The sound of those Clements always reminded me of somebody tearing a gigantic length of cloth. :)

  • The wonderfully beautiful clickiness of a White Industries freewheel

Whilst riding the Gruyere cycle tour last year, a couple of hundred bikes going through a long tunnel at speed on the way out of Gstaad. Very quite tunnel blasting, I was almost emotional.

The sound of your bones crunching as you fly over a car windscreen.

Its our pleasure I'm sure, you got what you asked for 8) . I'm another for the sound of my tyres on smooth tarmac at speed. One sound I have heard but didn't like was the Bee that flew in through the vents on my helmet last "Summer". Ever seen a Cyclist rip his helmet off and start waving it around (phnarr)?

If you want to do a 5 minute effort (exactly) try Sleep deprivation by Simian Mobile Disco.
