Hi All,

Would love to hear what pressures your running for the following:

a) Tyres - front/rear and their widths.

b) Front fork and brand/model

c) Rear shock and brand/model

Throw in the bike its all attached to, too! :)

Cheers,

Simon

  • why?

is this for market research, personal research or are you just some kind of pervert?

oh, and what are rear forks?
  • Road Bike - Bontrager Race-X-Lite Hard Case 700 x 23c - both at 85psi

    MTB Road - Bontrager Road Warrior 26 x 1.5 - both at 70psi

    Off-road - Panaracer Cinder 2.25 at 30psi front / 2.1 at 35psi rear

    100% suspension-free. :P

I'd like to put a bit more in the 700's but the roads around here are a fookin' disgrace!

..oh, and just in case JC is right, we've got all the double glazing we need, aren't interested in combining our gas and electric bills and have no interest in seeing photos of your wife in the shower ........ unless she's a bit tasty!!:D
AT MY AGE, I SHOULD KNOW BETTER !!!

A bike useage and season make a lot of difference.
B every bike and rider will be different, bike design has a greater influence.
C every bike and rider will be different, bike design has a greater influence.

please think about what and why you are asking and maybe ask some questions find out why these questions are not thought out.

    Hi,

I understand there will be alot of variance for these by rider/bike/season etc...

It was just for my interest so I can guage how people are setup - no sales! Probably should ask for your weights too to make the pressures more meaningful.

Please add your current setup if you can.

    Thanks,
  • again, why?

what do you care how much I wiegh and how my tyre pressure corresponds to that?

you dont seem to know much about bikes.
  • I ask questions for answers... not sure why it is bothering you so much?

I usually run my tyres at 35psi but was curious as to what other peeps are running at.
  • so why not ask

what tyre pressure do you guys run?

instead of all that crap you asked already. and you still havent answered my question. what do you want this information for?

    I run my Mud-x 2.0 tyres at 35psi

My Fox Float RP2 shock at 190psi

Not sure on the pressure for the Fox Float 130 RL

Attached to a Trek Fuel ex8

    Weight 190lbs

Please don't have a w4nk over these stats
  • I can't remember my exact weight, but me and the bike wet through are less than 11 stone.

    Road Bike
    Make: Crap and Fail
    Forks: Crap and Fail Slice
    Rear Shock: My @rse
    Tyres: Bichelin Pro2's 700 23's (F+R)
    Pressures: 100psi dry / 90psi wet.

Run the same in my commuter and other road bikes. Commuter is steel frame and 25 tyres, so it rides like a full sus. Bonty tyres.

    MTB
    Rockshox Dart 3's,
    26 x 2.25 Bonty Jones XR's.
Running at 50 onroad, will run nearer 30 with Stan's off road.

Tyres between 20 and 50psi. Cureently Tioga Red Phoenix 2.00 tubless at about 35psi

Fork - whatever it takes to give me about 25% sag, can't actually remember the figure!

    Rear shock, don't have one.
