Leek CC's (previously Legbreaker organisers) Credit Crunch Sportive is now open for entries as www.davebriandmemorial.co.uk
Leek, Ashbourne, Buxton, Gun Hill circuit, Leek. 52 miles 1459m of ascent.
Week before Mother's day, this will be a great event to get your climbing legs going, first Peak District Sportive of the year.
We think it's a bargain at £7.50 entry, upgrade to Chilli & Rice or Vegetable Pasta Bake when you've finished.
HQ is Den Engel Belgian Bar & Restaurant so you can also numb the pain after (as long as it's legal and safe to do so!)
If 52 miles isn't enough we hope you will consider riding out and back, this would really be in the spirit of the event.
