Alternatives to cycling coverage on British Eurosport?

Last November I decided to stop paying my Sky subscription for Eurosport on the basis that British Eurosport cannot guarantee even a reasonable amount of coverage of the Spring Classics for cycling fans.

I therefore looked into the idea of getting a motorised satellite dish installed that would allow me to pick up the feed off International Eurosport but a TV guy discovered that a bunch of trees in a neighbouring property would prevent me from getting a signal off the relevant satellite (the neighbour concerned was none too keen on the suggestion that they be 'trimmed' a little!).

This then lead me to look at getting a subscription to cycling.tv but from looking at their website it seems they have limited licensing rights in the UK (no San Remo, Roubaix, Paris-Nice, LBL, Giro, etc).

Does anyone know which web-based company has rights to broadcast the ASO and the Italian races in the UK? Thanks

    It's often possible to find live streaming links from the main broadcasters - last year I watched a live Paris-Roubaix link from Danish TV with live audio feed from Eurosport.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    You should go to this website: www.cyclingfans.com

    There is often host broadcasters feed on there and they frequently have an english audio feed in there too. Most of the big races are covered and if you've got a half decent computer with broadband you should be able to receive watchable bike racing.

    Eurosport is getting more and more annoying. Tonight they've shunned the TOC for snooker!!

    It's on Eurosport 2.

    afx237vi I know it's on Eurosport 2 but it's just the principle that they've moved it to there for snooker :)

    The best alternative to Cycling on Eurosport is WCW on Sky Sports Three.

    They still wear latex and i dont think there are as many drugs used. those really are some of the best "athletes" in the world.

    If you want to recreate the TOC coverage - simply put some photos of cyclists in your shower cubicle, turn on the shower and look through the glass.
