Surely the people who have stolen that bike are not stupid enough to try and sell it- Or are they.

Lance wont be bothered, he'll just open up his wardrobe and get another one out.0
-
i believe it was a one of a kind. So there won't be any more in any wardrobes.
what sort of a spanner does something like this?.. who said that, internet forum people ?0 -
They have it back, they caught me as soon as I hit the first hill0

So, it happens to us all. Didn't his insurance company recommend a good lock when going out for milk?http://twitter.com/mgalex

I am sure he has got bigger things to worry about than that, and a lot of hype to live up too.
But what would you do with the bike if you can't really sell it, or even ride it because someone would spot you soon enough..0 -
Flog the bits off it, must be worth a pretty penny, then spray the frame so it looks cr@p then build it up and ride it everyone would think it's a piece of sh1t but you'd knowwinter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg

its karma for him riding a road bike WITH A PEAKED HELMET
the bad helmet'dont forget lads, one evertonian is worth twenty kopites'0 -
Ah, bless, he's got it back now.
Apparently there was a twitter message sent to over a hundred thousand people, and a facebok group called "1 Million Citizens Looking for Lance Armstrong's Stolen Bike", plus global front-page media coverage. What fantastic publicity.
And how convenient that it has been stolen and returned between time-trials, and has been returned undamaged less wheels, which there will be plenty of spares of.
Or am I just being cynical?0 -
Did they catch whoever nicked it?winter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg

I would have had the SRAM off it as well as the wheels apparentely the shifters were one of only five that they made
got to say that its very lucky and not suspicios that it was all a publicity stunt that he'll get his TT bike back for the time trial tomorrow
