Does anyone heave any tips for a good bluetooth headset for using when cycling?
I would want it for receiving calls  as well as listening to radio (speech NO music) podcasts. I would only be using my left ear so i can keep my right ear free for hearing traffic from behind.

ooo using a headset to make calls when cycling, you may want to wear a complete rapha outfit and declare your aversion to helmets for the complete `opening a can of worms' effect
Anyway...

supposed to be good for cutting out background noise.

i doubt they'd be of any use anyway on the move, as wind noise would make things a bit tricky anyway.
softlad speaks the truth too…riding on my bicycle, i saw a motorcrash…0 -
People look like tw@ts wearing them anywhere other than when there in a car, is it vital that you need to use your phone on the ol' cicyclewinter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg

The radio on your phone won't work with a bluetooth heasdset but will with a wired headset as the cable acts as an antenna, the media player will though as it doesn't needs an external signal.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

not vital but preferable as i do tend to get work calling/texting me on a Saturday morning.0 -
Why not record a voicemeil message explaining that you are dressed in lycra and out in the country with several similar minded adults - that should stop the calls - or even just explain that you'll call back later - I think you'll fund that any headset/phone combo will pick up too much noise and you'll end up stopping anyway so as to hear.0

I have a Jabra Bluetooth "Dog Tag", can be used with most portable headphones.
Works very well, the only thing is the buttons aren't good for use with full fingered gloves, I can't feel them very easily. No problem with mitts though.
