    Glad you weren't too badly injured.

    Get your bike properly examined and a report written by a good local bike shop (your frame or other components may have hidden damage).

    If in doubt whether the claim is sufficient for a solicitor, then ask them (one of those recommended here).

    Also, I believe the NHS is entitled to reclaim the costs of the emergency treatment in RTA's.

    Add to that your costs for alternative transport, lost working days etc. It soon mounts up.
