There is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow :(:(

I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

The pot of gold was reportedly stolen by a Polish single mother to supplement her child tax credits

Well, that's what I was expecting it to say anyway...

Not "How New Labour stealth taxes are affecting the value of your pot of gold" or "Pot of gold being used to fund new speed camera programme", then?

  • Nope. Sorry to say you're all wrong...

The pot of gold was stolen to give
    1) Bankers on 6 figure salaries a bonus, as they are so so poor and work so so hard
    2) To bail the British Banking System out of the MASSIVE debt and stoopid recession

PS, any bankers out there, only joking :D [/list]

  • Oh, I almost forgot the other inevitable DM headline related to this:

"Brussels demands that rainbow replaces traditional light bulbs" [1]

[1] A similar Mail front page currently graces the window of a local hardware shop. Out of every national morning daily around, only they could come up with that level of petty scaremongering....

  • The picture only shows one end of the rainbow, the pot of gold
is obviously at the other end. In fact what is being shown is
    the start of the rainbow.

    DM headline

No Cash for Murdering IRA leprechaun !*!*%!*

The murdering leprechaun Shamus O'Reilly has been denied his chance to collect British taxpayers' money for his terrorist activities. O'Reilly, a former IRA brigade commander, was today denied the chance to ever receive money from Gordon Brown's loony left-wing dictatorship for his part in being Irish. O'reilly was mending shoes and jealously guarding a crock of gold at Rainbow's End when a car, driven by Englishman Mr Richard Head ran over the evil Irishman. Police, who had not investigated, said that it was a tragic accident and that no one was to blame. It seems that that the former IRA officer had failed to notice that the rainbow, shoes and crock of gold had sited themselves at the edge of a busy main road. He was struck and fatally injured as Mr Head's car drove along the A763. After the accident a stunned Mr Head told the DM in an excusive interview "I saw what I thought was a cyclist and remember thinking that he should not be on the road as I ran over him. It was only later that I heard I had squashed that evil leprechaun .....

Sorry guys, rainbows are actually circular and have neither beginning nor end.
I love being a party pooper.

That is just wild speculation by mad physicists who put it down to refraction of sunlight through rain drops......

Anyway, they depend on the observer and will only be circular if you're floating about in the air - most of us cycle or walk upon the ground in which case they definitely have a beginning and end, the end being where the crock of gold is......
