    Well.

first you need to remove the rear caliper lever assy from the old brake.

Drain all the fluid out of the hose and then insert a brake inner cable from the capiler end. then remove the hose from the lever end.

this leaves the cable in place allowing you to then feed the new hydro hose over the cable and out the other end.

Of cause you will need to remove the fluid from the new brakes as well and then bleed the brakes.

Or you could just cable tie the new one to the frame.

  • I just held my frame vertically in a workstand and it eventually pops through, make sure you remove the gromets from the frame first and slip one over the hose further up the brake line then once through the frame add the other gromet and pop them in place back into the swingarm. It is a bit of a fiddly job, but not one you will need to do often and looks much neater than it zip tied to the swingarm in my opinion.
  • On my one I just tend to poke a nice new brake cable inner inside the old hydraulic tube and then pull the tube out leading the inner brake cable threaded in the frame. Then just use it to guide the new hydraulic brake pipe in.
  • Thanks
