I have! But since me and girlfriend had 'agreed' just to do cards and have a nice meal, I am sorted already. Until last night when she mentions that she'd had to return something she'd got me as it was a bit damaged in the packet. I just smiled, white faced and ashen, and began planning my route around town today. Glad to see I wan't alone!

Also glad I can just fling money at Cath Kidston shop people and that'l be me sorted. 8)

I haven't bought anything yet. My plan is to get home before her and by all her stuff and stick it in my car!

I'm not going crazy. Card, chocolates, flowers and wine. That is all.

Edit: Sh*t where do I get flowers from, is there a florist in Wimbledon...!!!! I'm in a hot panic now!

Oh hell my girlfriend is going kill me....

Off for dinner tonight going for dinner on the 14th is nasty, overpriced and full of other couples and what the restaurant deems romantic... like f**king jazz :x

I now have to work out how to transport wrapping paper home on my bike without damaging it.

    Suggestions?

I've got two panniers, no postal tubes and don't really want to fold the paper flat if I can help it, though I admit it's looking like that's my only option.

    It's Saturday tomorrow, long-lie-in, no-work, probable hangover-recovery day.
  • I would rather cycle the wrong way up the M1 in the fast lane than go to a restaurant tomorrow evening!

Whoosh, I got home in record time (Before 6pm is impressive)

Rushed to Marks and Spencer bought card and flowers, then over to wine shop and bought Rose in a pink bottle... Then Thortons for some chocies.... :P

£32 smackers later and once I got home MRS DDD phoned me and asked if we are still buying presents. I had completely forgot we were buying actual presents and not the usual cheesy gifts....

Not sure what's happening tomorrow, I've promised an X-box free day and she'll cook me a special meal.

I don't know, we played well first half, and then went to sleep later on once we sure that we going to beat the Scottish - it's always a tighter against the English so I can't imagine we'll slacken off that much...

Italy were rubbish, or at least their tactical experiment was. Such a shame as we've got some great players and a fantastically effective forward line, when they're not doing dumb things. Wonder if we'll manage our one win a year this season?
