Sigma Sports loyalty

So, anyone know how it works? I was in there this afternoon, and was given a shiny piece of Simga plastic. It went straight into my pocket with a "I'll look at that later".
It says they have a loyalty scheme; no details on the website though I could find. How's it work?

Every you time you buy something you get points on your account. At some future point you can turn those points into account credit. I think they automatically add the credit to your account once a year.0

Sigma Sport, just don't go there! They are a terrible shop who engage in sharp business practices. Having spent £4500 I got £80 points just to give you some idea. If you have a warranty issue with them be prepared to be messed around. They are cack!0

Yeah, Ive got one also ans was wondering the same!0

I've had one for a while and unless they've changed the scheme then your points are updated each time you buy something and AFAIK you can just go in and find out how much your points are worth and use them to buy something. I have however stopped using Sigma as they're a) expensive b) a bit 'off' unless you're dropping serious cash and c) take ages to sort out warranty issues using the they need to send whatever back to the distributor/manufacturer blah blah blah.'Hello to Jason Isaacs'0

Don't encourage him. I had a look as his post history when I read this. There's a history between him and Sigma (something how a complaint about the anodised finish on some spokes was handled) which has prompted a bit of a vendetta.
Obviously, if they turn me over, I'll be joining the vendetta, or starting my own . But I'm OK so far, so no reason to complain. Good 'til proven bad IMO.0 -

That's incorrect, in fact you need BOGOF with Cervelos as there's a high probability that it will break / fail / be recalled!
From my own experiences of Sigma Sport, full of gold-card weilding types with more money than sense - if you're looking for informed, objective opinion, suggest you go somewhere else. They may treat existing customers obligingly, but have a dismissive disdain for anyone else - a great place for a long stand and a dose of contempt. Maybe the credit crunch will force them to change their attitude?Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0 -

Well, under their warranty, you do GOF when you BO that breaks/fails/is recalled. That's what a warranty is there for, isn't it?0 -

I've been using Sigma for the best part of 10 years and have never had any problems with them. Hopefully that'll be your experience too.0 -
I hate telling tales out of school but am quite upset by recent treatment down at the Hampton Wick temple and need to vent.
I was a big Sigma fan - and reasonable customer having bought 3 £4k bikes in 2 years - but imho since the sad departure of Murph the previously superb customer service has taken a nose-dive.
Fortunately, unlike others, I haven't had any warranty issues. Rather, I am getting fed up with the constant failure to respond to repeated phone messages and emails - and it's not like I'm buying a set of brake blocks. Getting in contact with someone has become a chore.
In the current market, I'm spending much more time with my clients - even the smaller ones - to make sure they are happy with service levels and products. I find it very odd others aren't doing the same.
My conclusion is either my business isn't important or they are making too much money to care. A great shame since they are all a good bunch of guys.
I have found new solace in Hoxton Square.
