The person probably doesn't come on here, but I hope they're ok. Driving on the East Lancs Way towards Haydock (sorry don't know where exactly as I don't know the area well) at about 2.30pm earlier today, and I passed a police car with "police accident" signs in front and a lorry about 15 yds ahead. In between was a Giant road bike laying in the middle of the road with mangled wheels.
Didn't see a rider, or an ambulance so I hope the rider was in the police car. Anyway whoever you are, I hope you are ok.
I've seen more than my fair share of accidents in the last couple of days mainly due to the ice, just hope it's only been machines dmaged and not people.

I've done it a two or three times in the past to get from my home in W Yorkshire to Liverpool . The last time to the passport office in Liverpool for a swift renewal of passport . It was the quickest way so far as I'm aware . It brought up a century plus without too much pain other than boredom .
Didn't they used to run time trials on the East Lancs ?"Lick My Decals Off, Baby"0
