11 spd chainset with 10 speed set up

I currently have a 10 speed Campag Record set up and need to replace my chainset. For future compatibility, I am thinking of getting a new 11 speed Campag chainset. Will this work with my current 10 speed setup, including 10 speed chain?

    I read a Leonard Zinn article which warned against mixing 11 and 10 speed drivetrain components.

    One guy crashed. Not at all clear what caused it so Zinn has to cover his behind. I've ridden several thousand km with 10 cranks and 11 group without issue. There's endless discussion of this on other weight-oriented forums. :-)
