Trek 8000 - To Buy or Not To Buy?

Anyone know much about this bike? and could recommend it to buy?

    saw this one in a shop that may be local-ish to you a few months ago. It looks nice definitely spec wise although the colours don't do much for me together :?

    Yer mate i saw it in chesterfield, in jejames. I thought the colours went well together mate thats what got my interest in first place lol but yer the spec is top noch.. healthy price too!!

    yeah i just go on all the trails and do xc.. i should think it will be able to take some hammer! I'll be using it to commute to work as well though.. need a all round bike! Not too sure whether you can test one out, was just wondering if anyone knew much about them!
