have a pair of sorbothane full strike insoles tho something with a bit of comfort for the arches would help. anyone else with sidi full carbon soled shoes use a different insole than the standard one.
another consideration might be the sole slim sport heat moldable insole.

  • Got custom fit ones from Cyclefit in Covent Garden. Had them for nearly a year and they are still as comfortable as when they were first fitted. Moulded to the shape of your foot so pleny of support.

I've got a pair of 6.6's and tried the "sole" inserts in them, gave it a couple of rides but they were agony! They are too thick for my liking, went back to the sidi inserts and haven't looked back.

yea the "sole" need a bit more than a "couple of rides" to break in. for awhile you'd expect weird burning sensation, thats your feet getting used to the maximum arch support & then your left with the nice feeling of comfort. tho its confusing return2fitness say the insoles last 2 years while the official site says 1 year.

cyclefit looks great tho its in london.. bit far to go even for a pair of custom insoles.

just look for anywhere near you doing the sidas custom mouldables, sometimes branded as esoles I think. Those are the ones I've got from cyclefit. Most running shops should do them and ski shops for that matter as well (I think you can get them in Ellis Brigham/Snow'n'Rock)

Try the Blue Superfeet http://www.superfeet.co.uk/Products/Blue.aspx insoles.

Sidas are different from E-soles, both in cost and how they are made. The Sidas are heated and you stand on them and they take the mould of your foot. E-soles are done from a digital scan of your foot.
