Cable guides
Hi,
I’m renovating an old bike, and need to replace the plastic cable guide that sits under the bottom bracket. It looks as though the old guide was held in place with double sided sticky tape, rather than being bolted or riveted in place, as there is no hole in the frame and residues of tape. All the replacement guides I’ve seen are designed to be bolted in place. I guess I could use the sticky tape method to hold one in place again, but are there specific guides for “no hole” frames?
Thanks

You're more likely to find a bolt/rivet guide which can be held in place with tape and if there is a peg to go into a hole just cut it off, I have. DS Tape and cable tension will hold the guide in place.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0
