Today's Tale of Cycling Good Will

Here's my feel good factor for the start of the day:
Cycling to work this morning, spotted a chap fixing a puncture on his MTB. Stopped to see if he had all he needed - he did - exchanged pleasantries and went on my way. Probably didn't stop for more than 40 seconds.
Moral of the story is: zero hassle on my part, but millions of pounds worth (equivalent) of cycling good will generated.

yeah I had something similar last autumn time when I was doing hillclimbing training rides, you could just keep riding past and ignore them but its worth just pulling by side of road for a minute, even though you'll still hear people saying about how no road racers/riders ever wave to other people on the road :roll:0
