Which would be best anyone?
Specialized Pitch Comp or the Felt Compulsion 2? Both seem to be pretty good, but the Pitch looks simpler and more easily maintained.
Thanks guys

I'd go for the pitch, Compulsion too high of the groung - high bbNow that we are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak and not to please ourselves. ROMANS 15:10

But the Compulsion has far better components, etc.......BUrN mY EyES0

Ride them and see which you prefer. Pretty much everyone on here will say the pitch, absolute steal of a bike.0

i rode both before i bought the compulsion 2se, the pitch is an awsome bike but i went with the compulsion as i didn't see that much of a difference for the extra money for the pitch ( i know i'll get slated for saying that!!) but i love the felt, it's and amazing ride, smooth handling...0

I've got a Pitch Comp and it's a brilliant bike, the only down side out of the box are the grips and the tyres, both of which can be sorted for under £60.0

Similar price is the Kona Coilair, there part of the same categories if am right...i've bought one and receiving it today can tell you how it rides later hehe0

To be honest the felt is a bit of a bargain at wiggle right now.
Get someone to refer you and they will get 88 quids worth of gear from there, just ask the person who referred you to buy you 88 quids worth of stuff, if they are nice of course
add that to the 50 quids worth of free stuff you get, and the free dhb lenses, and its a good deal!0 -
yeh i got it for £880 from wiggle last week. So it was a bargain. It arrived today well packaged checked it over and everything was fine. Ridden it up and down my road because thats all I had time for. First impressions are very good, very nice shifting from sram x9/x7 and shimano XTR front mech, pike fork is excellent and fox float r and equilink are very nice. I definately reccomend it. the real test will come when i take it off road but I like it alot. Great bike at a graet price.I ride a Felt Compulsion 2 SE 2008 Mint Sauce Limited Edition and love it!!0

Am absolutly loving the coilair mate, it's that i can't compare to a Felt Comulsion 2 since i've never ridden one. Hoever, i can tell you that both lockout on the rear shock and the front fork makes the ride uphills and flats very easy!
Now the Felt has something that i seriously prefer compared to the Coilair, the SRAM gearing is my favorite and i absolutly love my X.9 set up on my hardtail, as it stands the Coilair shifting hasn't let me down but then again it is brand new! Over time when it settle in like the LX i had before am sure this will eventually throw in the towel...spring on it isn't much to talk of. hence my switch to the X.9.
The positive feedback that i get from my SRAM set up is so much better than shimano Deore and LX, and i would highly recoomend that on any bike. Therefore personally it will most probably come down to your riding style! if you enjoy downhills with some good technicall tracks and bumby trails...i think the Coilair is worth a look into, but if your more of a Trail enthusiasts, enjoy cycling around trough your local trails and doing a lot of cross country, i think your best bet will be with the Felt in my opinion.
here are some images of my new Coilair ;_)
