Snow - how bad is it?

Am a bit confused about what to do...

...we had planned a weekend in Devon, and while down there I was going to deliver two bikes to a guy who is buying them off me.

Trouble is the roads look awful down there (we live in Sussex and there is no snow here).

So do we brave it and go, or cancel and stay safe?

We would be going along the M27, A30 which is a trunk road, so should be fairly safe?

Damn that snow!

The A303 in Somerset was bad today according to the local news in Brizzle and there were abandoned cars on the A38 by the Paignton/Torquay turn off. I'd stay home TBH.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
  • I'd stay home, I heard it was pretty bad there. Monday was the worst for us in the hants/surrey area, the snow was a foot deep on the A31 hogs back.

    Well we went...

...and got back with no problems whatsoever!

There was a bit of snow/ice on the road in Dorset near Bridport - but other than that it was fine!

Plus we won £60 on a scratch card :)

    Thats more than lucky!
