  • a cyclocross on that path...for real? it's an amazing technical route with 4ft drops, like a dried up river bed on a 4% gradient and it starts right at the bottom of my street, (seriously) 3 years i've lived here, there's a path i've been up loads but never went passed the end, never needed to until looking for a route to chop off 7 miles around the hill. so when i saw on the map there was another path on the other side of the hill i went for it. i love finding new routes, my side of the hill isn't used often as it's 6% in parts, but the other side is obviously well used judging by the amount of tyre tracks. i don't think i'll be using it often, but now i know it's there i'll probably use maybe once a week for the fun factor only. like itboffin said getting really filthy everyday would get boring in the end and spoil a good route.

  • y not like i said it's only a couple of miles from either end, so if something happens it's only a short walk to civilization, just a shame it's so short...and i only just found it
