I'm sorry but I just can't get jealous when the pic appears to feature a double susser.

Well done.
Nice commute - I'd recommend mud guards as many as you can fit on that bike because arriving at work covered in muddy wet clothes very quickly loses its "fun" factor appeal.Rule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.

cheers itboffin,
i'm an electro mechanical technician so shop floor based, i use endura over trousers and convert jacket so i just take them off and hang up to dry. put on some undies then overalls. the crud catcher with a cut up innertube between suspension stanchions is best you can get for mtb bike, i believe moto style ones aren't very effective.Cotic Soul rider.0 -
yep i'm jealous of the commute, maybe not the seatpack though!0

What in god's name is that montrosity between the two wheels and under the saddle and handlebars??0 -
be nice, it's obviously been involved in an accident. That dent in the seat tube looks nasty0
-
Hmm,
It looks very slow going- surely there's a quicker way, with a properly surfaced road, then you wouldn't need that funny looking bike. Isn't it a bit heavy?
If you're going to commute regularly, you might find it better to pick a different route: if you can avoid rough paths and steep hills you can avoid all that expensive and overcomplicated gubbins like fat tyres, suspension, gears and freewheels. That way the bike will be much lighter and more fun to ride, more reliable and cheaper, to boot!
Cheers,
W.
P.S :-), in case it isn't blindingly obvious...0 -
It's a bike. Whatever type of bike, it's better than a car anyday :P0
-
And this from the guy who was asking recently whether to commute on the MTB or buy a road-bike????
I take it there is a road you can use instead?
Otherwise I'd say stick with the off-road route, it looks fantastic! Or, buy a Cross bike if you are feeling brave
