    flea bay otherwise no!
  • only from the livestrong.org shop I'm afraid...

I'm very surprised that Nike stores dont offer anything :(

..and as it is based in the US expect to have to pay some import tax at the post office when you collect your items too...there is a limit of $50 that can get in the Uk free.

I think it's because Nike have stopped making all cycling related gear recently. At least, that's what my LBS told me (which explained their 50% off ALL nike stuff. Shame their elite bibs were slightly too long for my legs. Grr!)

  • teagar,

but if they have stopped making all their cycling gear.....why still sponsor and provide LA with his kit?

Also, from his Twitter page he has just been to a fitting for some of their cycling shoes...

Me too. My shoes are Nike but I bought them at a discount a couple of years ago. Can only find the occasional bit of Nike cycling kit on the web and they are usually being sold cheap.

No mention of cycling as a sport on the Nike website either

Because Nike have nothing directly to do with clothing manufacture - they are merely a brand control organisation that licences the brand onto whatever product they let their subcontracted manufacturers put the brand on

for all Nike are bothered, they could be specialized shoes with a swoosh stitched on !!

I wouldn't be surprised if they get back on the lance bandwagon at some point - but all they have to do is cut the deal with the celeb (Lance, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods) and have a subbie sort some threads for them to wear, job done

and if there is enough market clamour, cut a new deal and the subbie ships em out to the bike stores, Evans' if they want, even JJB if it suits the brand value
