Does anyone know how I should prepare a carbon seatpost ?
Should I grease or put black lekky tap on bottom to protect it?
Thanks for all your help, sorted my gears took me about an hour but played with the dials and it does not skip anymore.
If I need to lube, what grease do i need
Thanks again guys

Use Fibre Grip or something similar.0

pace carbon assembly compound.
Basically you want some sort of specialist carbon grease, or fit it dry but store the bike without the post in so it doesn't sieze.
In the past i've used vaseline.0 -
hi get all the grease from inside your frame (as best you can)then use some of this to help reduce it slipping

^^^ forgot to say that, quite important as it can damage the resin.0

What can damage the resin, vasaline or the grease or leaving it in the frame?
I dont want to be taking it out all the time.
Thanks.0 -
if you clean the frame from any grease it will be fine just use plenty of the paste in the link0
